Childrens Party Games

Childrens Party Games That Parents Will Approve

During parties where children are invited as guests of honors, games must be provided simply because children and games are synonymous. However, it is also important that the parents of the children approve the games even in an implicit agreement. After all, you want to maintain cordial, if not close, relationships with them.

Well, worry no more as these children's party games will definitely meet the approval of parents everywhere. After all, these games engage both the mind and body in educational ways!

Mailman Is Calling

This is a version of musical chairs although there is no music involved and the children themselves decide on the pace and direction of the game. You have to arrange chairs in a tight circle and make your participants sit on them.

The "mailman" is a child who stands in the middle of the group. The game can start when the mailman says "Mailman coming for everyone who is wearing red (or any color he is wearing at the moment)". The seated children who have red on will stand up and exchange seats with another person who also has red on. In turn, the mailman will grab a seat of his own in the group.

However, the seated players cannot grab the seat beside their own chairs. They must transfer to another chair at least one seat away from their present position. The child with no chair after the scramble is considered out of the game.

One chair is then taken out randomly out of the group, with the child sitting on it acting as the next mailman. And so the game continues until only one child is left sitting down.

As with many childrens party games, it is not necessary to always be calling out the same thing. For example, the mailman can call out any aspect of his life like a sister, a brother and even specific toys.

Push the Orange

In this game, the children will be able to develop their body and eye coordination without them knowing it. And they will have fun in the process, to boot.

You have to find old oranges and old pairs of pantyhose - two oranges and a pair of pantyhose for each child. Now, place one orange in the leg of the pantyhose and tie it to the waist of the racer with the other leg. The arrangement is such that the pantyhose leg with the orange hangs towards the ground and swings between the child's legs, which serve as the "third leg". The second orange will be placed on the ground at the starting line.

Now, using said "third leg", the players push the second orange towards the finish line. Of course, no hands are allowed since the swinging of the "third leg" is sufficient force to move the second orange. You may have to shorten the race course to accommodate other childrens party games later on. The first player to cross the finish line is, of course, the winner of the game.

Indeed, it is our responsibilities as parents that our children enjoy their right to play games during parties.
