Board games can be a ton of fun, but you have to choose the right ones. Choosing a board game for your next party should not be something difficult. If you consider a few things before picking out your games then you can ensure the board games will be a hit.

There are some specific things you have to consider when choosing board games. You should start with the number of people. You don't want to leave anyone out so you have to choose a game that everyone can play. Also consider the space you have to play in.

You don't want to choose a game that will have everyone out of their seats and moving around if space is limited. Another consideration is the age of people playing. You don't want to choose juvenile games for adults, but you also don't want kids getting left out if games are too difficult.

Print These Party Games To Get the Party Rolling

Here is a look at some of the top party board games that you might want at your next party. Each of these games is a load of fun and they almost all work for any amount of people and any age.

Scattergories: This is a very easy game because it requires little set up, little space and any number of people can play. In this game players are given a category and a letter. They must come up with a work that fits into the category and starts with the letter. Answers may not be repeated.

Cranium: This game is challenging because it requires players to do things they would not ordinarily do such as drawing with their eyes closed or spelling words backwards. Players play on teams and draw cards that give them a specific task they must do. The team with the best skills at doing the odd tasks required wins.

Apples To Apples: This is a game of comparisons. In this game players have to compare things in different categories. Red cards and green cards are used in the game. The red cards are laid by the judge and contain the name of a person, place or thing. The green cards are held by players and give a characteristic. The judge lays a green card and the players lay down the red card that they believe matches that green card.

Loaded Questions: This game can really get the conversation going. The whole idea is kind of like an odd game of truth or dare without the dares. Players must answer hypothetical questions that can give a lot of insight into who they are. Each player writes their answer to the question and the player who drew the question must match up the answers with the other players. It is a challenge to see what people are really thinking and is a great way to learn about new people.

Imaginiff: This game is about people's opinions of others. The game board is really just a board with empty spaces that are filled in with the names of those playing the game and other people everyone knows. Each name on the board becomes the subject of a randomly drawn question. Players have to choose which multiple choice answer best fits the subject.

Pass the Popcorn: A perfect game for those interested in movies, this movie game involves players having to guess which movie is the answer. One person reads out a quote, actor, character name or other characteristic from a movie and other players must guess what movie it is from.
