Princess Party Games:
Little Girl Princess Party Games Fit For Royalty

Princess Party Games Every Little Girl Will Want to Join In

Roses are red, violets are blue and little girls will always love princess party games like they love you - their mothers. Yes, that may sound silly if only because it's a silly paraphrase of an old favorite but it is, nonetheless, true.

Little girls love looking, feeling and being princesses especially on their birthdays and being a princess means being able to play the following games.

Print These Party Games To Get the Party Rolling

Dress Up Games

Your little girl's guests on her birthday party can be instructed to come in their best princess attire. Sparkling tiaras on heads elaborately made up in French braids, fancy dresses with equally fancy details and high-heeled shoes complete the look of the little princess.

The first of many princess party games will then be a princess pageant where the judges pick a winner with the title of, say, Princess of the Day. We suggest giving each little girl a prize just so there will be no hurt feelings.

Makeup Makeover

Little girls love makeup, too. You can purchase affordable non-toxic toy makeup from online stores for your little girls to play with as a part of the birthday activities.

The game can be done by pairing up two girls in one team and then each girl doing a makeup makeover on her partner. The best makeup will be judged the winner although we still recommend giving each team a prize.

Kiss the Frog Prince

One of the most enjoyable of the numerous princess party games is Kiss the Frog Prince, which is simply a variation of the classic Pin the Tail on the Donkey game. On the wall, place a picture of a large frog with a big mouth but color it white.

Draw red lips on a piece of cardboard paper corresponding to the white big mouth on the frog. The participants will try to paste the red lips on the white mouth while they are blindfolded and turned around in place 3 times. The winner is the one who placed the red lips closest to the white mouth, of course.

Princess and the Pea

One of the most popular fairy tales is the Princess and the Pea where the princess failed to enjoy a good night's sleep even after lying on countless mattresses, all because of a single pea located on the last mattress many feet below her.

To make it into one of the exciting princess party games, place a small round object like a marble below cushions, pillows and throw pillows. Participants will then sit on each one of these "mattresses" and guess where the "pea" is located. The first person to correctly identify the pea's location is the winner.

Find the Princess' Things

A variation on the old favorite of the scavenger hunt, Find the Princess' Things substitute the usual items with more princess-like materials. Tiaras and crowns, wards and scepters, sparkly slippers, rings, bracelets and other fancy accessories are on the list. These things can also become the prizes for the scavenger hunt.

Truly, a little girl is a princess at heart. She may not be a real princess belonging to a real-life royal life but she is a little princess in her own right. You can make her feel this way on her birthday by organizing princess party games where she and her court can enjoy themselves, all while dressed up as princesses.
