Instead, you should fill two normal baby bottles with various small odds and ends like Q-tips, hair clips and bows, diaper pins, pennies and foam cutouts, to name a few. You can even add a handful of rice to hide the items somewhat. Just make sure that you can still shake the bottle.

Print Baby Shower Games To Get the Party Rolling

Now, split the guests into two teams, give each team of the game their filled bottle as well as pen and paper. Give the teams 5 minutes to write down as many of the items as possible, with the right number of items, to boot. There will be no opening of the bottle, of course.

The team with the most number of correct items written down wins. You can provide small tokens as prizes, of course, although this is not necessary for these unique baby shower games.

Name the Baby Character

Although this is a staple of fun baby shower games, you cannot deny that the Name the Character game really does engage everybody in the room. Before the day of the baby shower, you should cut out pictures of the fictional characters from television shows and movies that cater to the children's market. These characters can be the creations of Disney, NickJr, Noggin and Sesame Street, to mention the most popular companies.

On the day of the baby shower, provide each mom with a pen and paper. Let them write down the names of the characters that you have cut out. The mom with the most number of correct answers wins!

This is a great way for a first-time mom to be acquainted with the possible shows that her baby will be exposed to in life. Plus, it does feel great to be able to know which one is the most educational of the shows.

Piñata We Go!

These unique baby shower games are not to be forgotten any time soon. This is almost like throwing the bouquet except that this time, the person who can get the "positive pregnancy test kit" is the next one to get supposedly pregnant, not married. You just purchase a piñata of your choice and then fill it with candies, small baby items and colored tongue depressors.

The tongue depressors should resemble the pregnancy test kits. One depressor should bear two lines to signify pregnancy while the other depressors should only bear one line to represent a negative pregnancy result. The female guest who will get the depressor with two lines wins a small token. And maybe a few catcalls about getting pregnant already.

Funny baby shower games are sure to be a hit for all guests. Just remember not to make it too fun lest the expectant mother experience premature labor pains. Now that is something we don't want, ever.
